MEKAMBO (north-east), July 16 (AGP) – The opposition in the race for the local and legislative elections of August 26, in the department of Zadié and in the commune of Mekambo, capital of the department, plans to conclude alliances, we learned this Sunday from a well-informed source.
According to this reliable source, through alliances, they hope to put the odds on their side, in order to reduce those of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG, in power), during local and legislative elections.
“Some political actors intend to make alliances to constitute common lists for the election of August 26th,” adds the same source.
Less than two months before the elections, these political actors say they want to work in synergy so that power changes hands.
