We are looking for reinforcements in our team with immediate effect. You can now apply for a position at MeinMMO in order to independently create web-optimized video contributions from your home office.
Who we are looking for: You should be very familiar with gaming and know what players are really interested in. You have good knowledge of video editing and have a feel for dramaturgy and creative image design.
We would like to fill the position as quickly and well as possible. Maybe with you.
Attention: This position is intended for self-employed employees. It is not a permanent position.
That’s the job
You will become part of our editorial team and help expand our reporting by being able to offer our own video formats on our website for the first time. It is important to us that you put the readers first and that you and the editors consider which video contributions are really interesting and important for our community.
The field of activity
- you create short, web-optimized video stories in cooperation with the editorial team in an efficient way: Videos are a maximum of 3 minutes in length, they have overlays with text passages, there is no need to talk about them. The majority of our users visit the website on mobile devices!
- It should be possible to convert potentially strong news or exclusive information into a video format within 24 hours
- you bring some of our existing evergreeens into a video format (eg “The most promising MMORPGs 2022”, “The biggest streamers on Twitch”, “These MMORPGs have the best housing”)
- you upload new trailers for our games in our CMS
- the videos are primarily created for the Mein-MMO.de website, but partly also for our social media Facebook and Instagram
- Since video is a new format for us, it can lead to experiments and we are open to your creative input
Here are two examples of video contributions that you will produce with us in the future (format adapted to the respective platform):
We are looking for:
- you can use video tools like Premiere Pro
- you have a good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- you can independently create short story videos with subtitles and already have experience with content
- Communities are important to you! You have a flair for storytelling in short videos and understand how to get others to not only discover videos, but also react to them, find them interesting and bind themselves to the content,
- you are gaming savvy
- ideally you are interested in topics that we deal with on Mein-MMO.de
- you move effortlessly in social networks related to gaming (reddit, forums, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok)
- you have a good sense of language
- you are fluent in written and spoken German and English

MeinMMO was founded in September 2013. We have been part of Webedia Gaming since March 2016.
MeinMMO now reaches over 3 million unique users every month. Thus, within a few years, according to agof, the site has now established itself as the largest, German pure game website.
MeinMMO’s focus is on popular service games that have been developed over the years and played together online. These include titles such as Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, New World, Pokémon GO, GTA Online, Fortnite or FIFA.
