Jakarta –
AC Milan failed to get Mehdi Taremi from FC Porto. This was allegedly because the Rossoneri spoke to the wrong player’s agent.
It was reported that Milan and Porto had agreed on the transfer of Taremi worth 15 million euros. This situation led to speculation that personal requirements would later run smoothly.
However, problems arise when different intermediaries increase demand. Sky Sport Italia indicates that they have doubled or even tripled their previous requirements.
This situation is even more mysterious because Taremi’s agent, Pedro Pinto, has given an interview to the Portuguese newspaper, Record. Porto previously sent another person to broker the deal, namely Daria Bahrami.
“The club never spoke to me. The players warned them that they were talking to the wrong agent, but that went on for two months,” said Pedro Pinto.
“The salary that was submitted did not match the value of the player. We never even discussed a commission. Milan will have to provide evidence if they claim that is what happened.”
“After the agreement between the clubs, the Rossoneri side contacted the player and explained who his representatives are,” continued Pedro Pinto.
“I don’t know why they keep talking to the wrong agent, I can’t explain it. No club in the world chooses who to represent their players. Now they are looking for a scapegoat to justify failing to sign the player.”
