Meghan Markle’s father seeks contact with his daughter

Meghan Markle and her father Thomas have had no contact for years. He would like to change that. But with that he should come across granite.

Thomas Markle apparently sends letters to his daughter, reports “Us Weekly”. The paper cites a source, according to which the efforts of the 75-year-old are in vain. “The letters remain unopened,” it says.

Prince Charles led Meghan to the altar

According to insiders, the relationship between the two has always been considered tense. The big break came in May 2018, however, when Thomas Markle made headlines with his own paparazzi photos just before his daughter’s wedding. Later he completely canceled the wedding (because of health problems). Prince Charles ultimately led Meghan Markle to the altar.

Father Markle caused tensions with critical interviews

The actress is said to have broken off the contact while her father with critical interviews against British royalty, Prince Harry and even Meghan caused further tensions. After his daughter and Harry resigned from their royal duties, Thomas Markle said on British breakfast television that he would be ashamed of his daughter and find her behavior embarrassing.

Meghan Markle lives with her husband Prince Harry and their son Archie no longer in England, but in California. The spatial distance between Meghan and the Mexican of choice, Thomas Markle, has therefore narrowed – obviously the emotional distance does not allow that to be said.
