The Duchess of Sussex has signed a deal with Disney. Meghan Markle, wife of the British prince Harry, has recorded texts for the entertainment giant in exchange for a donation to Elephants Without Borders, writes the British newspaper The Times. This organization helps to maintain the elephant population and to protect the animals against poachers. Harry and Meghan had already shown that they are interested in such projects.
The recordings were made before the couple’s departure to Canada, where they spent six weeks and celebrated Christmas. In May, the couple received an animation from Winnie the Pooh from Disney at the birth of their son Archie, a rare honor.
Amounts of six digits
The agreement could point to the couple’s new activities as they withdraw from the British royal family. They could use their fame to raise money for charities, British newspapers think. If they link their name to an organization, they could get amounts of six or more digits, thinks the Daily Mirror.
