The royal family will face a new attack in the form of Meghan Markle’s memoir, reported the “Daily Mail”, quoted by BGNES.
After Meghan and Harry couple made explosive claims in their recent Netflix series, Prince Harry’s new autobiography ‘Spare’ is expected to cause even more controversy.
The series’ allegations of racism and unfair treatment of Meghan have plunged the royal family into a crisis, and the situation looks set to worsen with the publication of Harry’s book in nine days.
Now, however, information has surfaced that Meghan will release her own memoir. According to one source, the Duchess of Sussex is “considering being completely candid about her time in the royal family.”
In 2021, the pair reportedly signed a four-book deal with Penguin Random House. Prince Harry is also said to have received a $20 million advance for the Spare book.
Meghan has already published her children’s book, The Bench, with the same publisher, and the pair are said to be working on a wellness book. It is now believed that the mysterious fourth book will be Meghan’s autobiography.
A best-selling memoir would place Meghan in the well-worn American political tradition, amid much speculation that she might have ambitions for elected office given her outspoken views on women’s rights and other issues.
A Hollywood agent told The Mail on Sunday: “Honestly, I’d be surprised if Meghan doesn’t publish her story. Of course, Prince Harry has a chance to tell her story, but his is just as compelling. How many actresses marry a prince?
