A documentary series on the life of the Sussexes coming soon
Their life in the United States, as well as the last travels of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, should be told in a Netflix production. This documentary series should have been released in 2023, but the streaming giant preferred to bring the release date forwardreports Page Six.
The Netflix producers’ desire and strategy is to release the documentary shortly after the broadcast of the fifth season of The Crowna series devoted to the history of the British royal family, which should notably address the tragic death of princess diana.
Another reason that pushes Netflix to bring forward the release date: the prince Harry is also expected to publish his memoir in the fall of 2022. The content is still secret but could contain embarrassing stories for the royal family.
“[Les dirigeants de Netflix] knew about the book’s release, which is why they wanted the show this year,” a source told Page Six. “They don’t want to wait any longer. There’s a lot to organize and a lot at stake here. Netflix wants to make sure it’s there and doesn’t get left behind.”
The latest news is that the Sussexes don’t want the documentary series to air until 2023. No date has yet been officially announced.
