Only 11.5% of respondents want a lockdown if a new wave comes. Let mother nature decide. Time for survival of the fittest. It just happened to people that this epidemic was an epidemic of fear, the destruction of health care and the economy as such. I deal with genealogy and when there were epidemics in 1831 / 1832-1848 / 1849-1863, whole families mowed them. Literally. Often parents, children and grandparents died from the same house. The increase in the number of deaths was about 30-40% year on year (before / during the epidemic). The sick were buried in separate cemeteries, and when the epidemic was over, chapels were erected, votive offerings were given, etc., because it literally affected everyone. Several dozen people “sickened” in my family; no one has died and I have really sick / elderly relatives. Nobody had the so-called heavy mileage. For this died people who I knew somewhere “by sight”, or were from my most distant circle of friends, because they had kidney problems – they got an attack that in 2018 would be relieved within 60 minutes in a nearby hospital, but during … a man’s epidemic was driven and tested from hospital to hospital 12h and died. These are the victims. The victims are suicides. Victims are depressed people. Victims are bankrupt businesses. Victims are also domestic violence. The point is not that I want mass deaths to say “ok, there is an epidemic” (it is known that today’s one also meets the definitions …), but what political actions have destroyed can even be compared to war damage or at least some march troops The problem is that among these 11% “in favor of lockdown” there are probably politicians, uniformed services, general budget, etc., ergo the state.
