Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex and wife of Britain’s Prince Harry, has begun to consider returning to her former work as an actress.
Megan Markle contacted a number of senior directors and producers, informing them of her desire to resume her artistic activity, after years of retirement due to her association with Prince Harry and her life commitments to the royal family, according to the New York Post.
The newspaper quoted a magazine, what a source close to Megan Markle said: “The series Suts has achieved great success, and the producers have informed her of the audience’s desire to see her act again, and she is enthusiastic about the idea.”
He added, “While Meghan Markle may want to get a role in a TV series, her real goal is to participate in a dramatic movie, because she believes in her ability to win an Academy Award in the future.”
Last April, Meghan Markle signed a contract with an artist management company, but she has not contracted to present any work yet.
The source explained, “Meghan Markle has received many offers over the past five years, but she rejected them because she wanted to adapt to royal life, after which she would start a new path in Hollywood with her husband, Prince Harry, but all that has changed now.”
And he continued, “The offers began to decrease, so Megan Markle started talking with senior producers and directors to get a good role, which is a step that Harry supports, because he is convinced that his wife cannot stay away from acting because of her strong love for him.” The source confirmed that Megan Markle believes that Harry can become a good actor, but he has rejected that step so far, but it is difficult to confirm if he will change his position in the future.
