Comeback. Actually, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan should only have arrived in the Big Apple today, where they will take part in the “Global Citizen Festival” in Central Park. Commemoration. Harry and Meghan visited the memorial for the victims of the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. They also posed with New York Mayor Bill de Blasio on the viewing platform of the new One World Trade Center.
Another meeting was on the program with UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield. At each of the meetings, the Duchess appeared in a different outfit, which earned her numerous prophecies of doom in the US media. An interesting detail of the royal visit was that Harry spent the evenings alone.
Gentlemen’s evening. Harry was seen in the bar of the Carlyle Hotel both Wednesday evening and the following evening without Meghan. But Harry didn’t stay long. After 45 minutes of small talk in the bar, he disappeared to his room at 6:30 p.m.
