Duchess Meghan’s (41) half-siblings, Samantha Markle (58) and Thomas Markle Jr. (56), can safely say they aren’t impressed by the Netflix documentary ‘Harry & Meghan’.
Meghan and Prince Harry’s First Episodes (38) new documentary series was released on the streaming service Thursday of last week and has already made several titles. Meghan’s siblings are particularly reacting to how their family – mainly their father, Thomas Markle (78) – is portrayed on the series.

– It’s terrible. The documentary is wrong on so many levels. It’s really creepy. To say he has no family and no father is ridiculous, says Thomas Markle Jr. on Piers Morgan’s (57) talk show, “Talk TV.”

It’s episode three of “Harry & Meghan” that talks about it the relationship between Meghan and her father and how it got worse when, among other things, he posed for paid paparazzi photos.
– Of course, it’s incredibly sad what happened. She (Meghan) had a father before this and not now. And I caused it, because if Meghan wasn’t with me, her father would still be her father, says Harry in the series.

In the series, Meghan and Harry explain how they tried to contact her father to hear his side of the story, but were met with silence. The 41-year-old’s father was originally supposed to attend their wedding in May 2019, but he suffered a heart attack just days before the wedding and was absent from the celebration.
Meghan’s brother reacts to the fact that he was never told how to deal with the growing attention after the affair with the prince became public knowledge and believes it has helped make the whole situation more difficult for all parties.
– None of us got advice or help with the paparazzi, and that caused a lot of problems, she says.

– Nobody got in touch. I tried but was told I was distant family and that she doesn’t know us. It’s really weird how she hid the whole family like we didn’t exist, then lie about not having the family she always wanted. We’ve always been here, adds the brother.
According to the Netflix documentary, Thomas Markle Jr. has started work on his own series. He will be released in 2023 and, according to the 56-year-old, will tell a completely different story.

– He didn’t do anything
The Duchess’ half-sister, Samantha Markle, is also not particularly happy with the documentary series. She recently told GB News that she doesn’t want her father to see it, according to Fox News.
– He’s been through a lot. Two heart attacks and a stroke, and it was Meghan who started it. She saw it and she did nothing. So for Harry to say that is creepy, Samantha said.

Meghan’s stepsister also claims that her daughter, Ashleigh Hale (37), is “manipulated”. For many years Meghan has had a close relationship with her granddaughter, who was also raised with her grandparents and then adopted by them too.
Because Samantha wasn’t invited to the wedding in 2018, Meghan and Harry should have been warned not to invite her daughter either, the Duke and Duchess say in their documentary series.
Samantha Markle, for her part, claims that Meghan herself has chosen not to invite her niece.
– Ashleigh was lied to. I feel Meghan has been manipulating my daughter, she is very sad,” she said in the GB News interview.
