Meggs’ company goes bankrupt, creditors have nothing to take away from it

Not even BGN 4,000 is available for bankruptcy proceedings

The company “Megz 1” OOD of Rakovski’s designer Miglena Kakanasheva is bankrupt, but there are no assets that can be seized to satisfy creditors. This can be seen from a ruling by the district court of Plovdiv, with which the company was classified as over-indebted.

The initial bankruptcy costs amount to BGN 4,000, but this amount is also not available, so the proceedings have been stopped. “It may be resumed within one year after the entry into force of this decision at the request of the debtor or creditor, if it is established that there are sufficient assets or the specified amount of BGN 4,000 has been deposited,” is written in the decision of i magistrates. An appeal can be filed with the Plovdiv Court of Appeal.

Megz has 46 companies under his name and the NRA is asking him for more than BGN 800,000 hidden through fictitious transactions between them in taxes and interest.
