President of the PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri held a meeting with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Batutulis Bogor. The meeting lasted two hours.
“The food is specially prepared by the mother Megawati in the form of corn, bogor beans, boiled bananas, taro and even uduk rice. From food to entertaining President Jokowi himself, he is full of populist spirit, “PDI-P DPP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said in a written statement on Saturday (8/10/2022).
Hasto said Megawati has since March 2020 commissioned to plant 10 complementary rice crops. Hasto believes what Megawati proclaimed has now been proven why the world is experiencing a food crisis.

“What Ms. Mega has been proclaiming for 2 and a half years is now proven, the world is facing a food crisis. That’s why Ms. Mega served rice as a special side dish to Mr. Jokowi, so that Indonesia is truly sovereign in the food sector, “said Hasto.
Hasto mentioned in the meeting Megawati and Jokowi discussed important steps to address the food crisis and the world economy. Megawati said Hasto shared experiences with Jokowi in resolving the crisis.
“Ms. Mega paid a lot of attention to the economic and food crises and shared her comprehensive experience in multidimensional crisis resolution. At that time, all ranks of the Gotong Royong government were really focused and led so that in 2004 Indonesia was able to get out of the crisis, “he said.
Furthermore, Hasto said that Jokowi stressed the seriousness of the government in dealing with economic challenges and various crises.
“Pak Jokowi also stressed the seriousness of the government, including how ministers need to focus on addressing various economic challenges, the food and energy crisis and international pressure from geopolitical battles,” said Hasto.
Furthermore, Hasto said that issues related to the 2024 electoral agenda were also discussed. One of them is that the general elections of 2024 become an impetus for the awakening of Greater Indonesia and at the same time there is continuity of leadership from Bung Karno , Ms. Mega, Mr. Jokowi to the future national leadership.
