The Mega Millions continues to rise and reaches an estimated prize of 1,350 million dollars.
This is the second highest figure in the history of this lottery.
The last draw, played last night, did not yield winners of the jackpot, however, a New Yorker got five numbers of the combination that was: 7, 13, 14, 15 and 18, with the Gold Mega Ball 9.
This Friday’s draw will be historic again.
Only one other Mega Millions drawing had a higher jackpot: One ticket won $1.53 billion in South Carolina in 2018.
The new jackpot will go to a winner who chooses to be paid via an annuity over 29 years.
Almost all the winners opt for an immediate payment despite the fact that it is lower and that for Friday’s drawing it is estimated at 707.9 million dollars.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, as well as Washington, DC, and the US Virgin Islands.
