Wednesday, October 25 at At 17:00, the “Roman Garden” gallery invites you to a free meeting – a tour with Linda Vilks, the artist of the “re->where is my time left” exhibition. During the meeting, you will have the opportunity to hear an in-depth story about the reasons for the creation of artworks, the processes of processing internal and external themes, as well as some unplanned developments.
The exhibition “re->where is my time left” is a reflection on the nature of the artist and his tasks, as well as their interaction with society. What does society expect from an artist? Is the artist’s work comprehensible in some way – in terms of time, material, money, grain?
Linda Vilka is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller, who received her art education in Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and is continuing her studies at the LMA professional doctorate.
