While JVLMA representative Kaspars Antes informs “Delphi”, the JVLMA Symphony Orchestra will play Peleč’s 13th London Symphony. Artistic director and orchestra director of the Jubilee concert program Kaspar Adamson added another jubilee – the Viennese classicist Joseph Haydn, close to Latvian composers, whose 290th birthday we are celebrating this year.

“These two gentlemen have a lot in common: they both focus on the symphonic genre,” says conductor Adamson. “In Peleč’s music, you can hear the continuation of Haydn’s ideas: a witty play of motifs and the inclusion of popular motifs in the symphony. Therefore, in the concert we will hear both the work of Joseph Haydn and Georg’s 13th London Symphony. Peleč, in which the composer inserted the well-known folk song about two yellow foals “.

The concert of the Accademia Symphony Orchestra will open with the Overture in D major by Joseph Haydn, followed by the apex of the Viennese classicist’s symphonic works: the 104th symphony in D major, the closing symphonic cycle of London symphonies.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased in advance “Ticket Paradise” ticket offices.
