Le Louxor cinema invites you to the screening of the film America by Italian director Giacomo Abbruzzese, in his presence. “Last summer, my grandmother told me for the first time that my grandfather had not died in a car accident in New York, as I had always believed. He had been murdered in Harlem in the seventies. The documentary, combining the form of an essay film and family cinema, emerges from my research trip to New York and my investigation into his death. (GA)
