Ewa Błaszczyk (born October 15, 1955 in Warsaw). She graduated with honors from the Warsaw State Theater School. She made her debut as a student in 1977 on the stage of the Contemporary Theater in Warsaw. Most important theater roles: Juliet – “Romeo and Juliet” dir. R. Peryt; Joanna – “Joan of Arc at the stake” dir. R. Peryt (performance of the year); Pani – “Road to Damascus” directed by A. Hanuszkiewicz. Wiesław Saniewski’s film “Supervision” (Fipresci Award at the Manheim Festival) brought her the main acting award at the Gdańsk Film Festival. She gained wide popularity thanks to the double role of Kasia and Marian in the series ” Changeables” by Stanisław Bareja and became the winner of the TV Wiktor – audience award. Other series (“Home”, “Crimen”, “Adam and Ewa”, “Boża podszewka”, “Na good i na evil”, “Samo Życie”). He has produced numerous television theatres, television films, music, entertainment and poetry programs, and music videos. More important films: “Sezon na pheasants” by W. Saniewski; “Hanussen” by I. Szabo; ” M. Koterski.
He sings a lot and willingly, mainly literary and moody songs by Osiecka, Kleyff, Kofta, Czupkiewicz, Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, Fr. Twardowski, her husband Jacek Janczarski, songs from the repertoire of Iwanowa, Piaf, Dietrich and Wysocki. For many years she performed in J. Pietrzak’s cabaret “Pod Egidą”; she sang at sung poetry reviews, Stage Songs in Wrocław, festivals in Sopot, Opole and others. Currently associated with the Studio Theater in Warsaw. A book by Krysia Strączek entitled “You Can’t Go There” and the album “Everything is so fragile” tell more about her work, life and the “Akogo?” foundation.
