The President of the Municipal Port Fund of Chania, Manolis Kotsifakis, presented to the Deputy Minister the challenges facing the Fund, emphasizing the issue of understaffing which affects the effectiveness of its operations. At the same time, he referred to the strategic planning for the creation of a new marina in the area of Nea Chora, a project that, as he noted, will boost local tourism and the economy.
The Deputy Minister welcomed the proposal for the marina, characterizing it as particularly attractive and estimating that it will attract significant interest from investors.
