The Secretary Generals of parties in the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) held a meeting this evening at the Golkar Party DPP. Democrat stated his absence because he had not officially declared his support for Bacapres Prabowo Subianto.
“I just communicated with our Secretary General, Bang Teuku Riefky (Secretary General of the Democratic Party) that our Secretary General cannot attend tonight’s event, because only tomorrow we will officially declare our support for Pak Prabowo as the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate,” said PD Deputy Secretary General , Jansen Sitindaon, confirmed, Wednesday (20/9/2023).
Jansen confirmed that the meeting between the KIM Secretaries General was at the Golkar Office at 19.00 WIB. He said that Democratic party officials were focusing on preparing for the National Rapimnas for tomorrow night.
“Plus, in preparation for tomorrow’s national meeting, today all the leaders of the Democratic Party, including of course the Secretary General, Teuku Riefky, are currently focused on preparing for this national meeting. So after tomorrow’s declaration, we will completely merge with KIM,” he said.
Jansen then explained that the Democratic Party’s National Rapimnas event would take place at the JCC, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Democrat Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) will officially declare his support for Prabowo Subianto.
“So with this, we also invite all media friends to attend the JCC tomorrow night at the National Democratic Party Meeting, where Ketum AHY will officially declare and hand over the Democrat’s support to support Pak Prabowo,” he added.
As is known, eight Secretary Generals of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition Party (KIM) are planned to attend the meeting at the Golkar Party DPP Office. This was conveyed by UN Secretary General Afriansyah Noor.
“That’s right, there will be a meeting tonight. A coordination meeting at the Golkar Party DPP, the Secretary General of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition plus several parties that have joined Pak Prabowo are providing support,” confirmed Afriansyah Noor.
“Those invited were of course the Gerindra Party, Golkar, PAN, PBB, Gelora Party, Democratic Party, PSI, Garuda, Prima Party, already. I saw the invitation,” he added.
