Meeting in Paris in the Normandy format lasted more than eight hours – news from Ukraine, Politics

The meeting of advisers to the leaders of Ukraine, France, Germany and Russia in the Normandy format in Paris has been going on for more than seven hours instead of two scheduled. This was reported by the correspondent of the TV channel Dom from Paris.

Head of the President’s Office Andrey Yermak, who represents Ukraine at the talks, is expected at the Ukrainian Embassy, ​​where he should give a briefing on the results of the meeting.

UPDATED AT 21:52. The Russian propaganda agency TASS reports that negotiations have ended. They lasted 8.5 hours.

The French delegation is headed by presidential adviser Emmanuel Bonn. Jens Pletner, adviser to the chancellor, came to the meeting from Germany, and Dmitry Kozak, deputy head of the Russian presidential administration, from Russia.

The last meeting of the leaders of the Normandy format took place in December 2019, with the participation of President Volodymyr Zelensky. The next summit was scheduled for 2020 but did not take place due to Russian sabotage. Subsequent meetings were held at the level of advisers and representatives of the leaders of the four – in person in 2020, and then through videoconferences.
