Today, the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, in cooperation with the Louvre Abu Dhabi, is organizing a new edition of the “Meeting from Space” series in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The event provides an opportunity to communicate directly with astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, who is currently aboard the International Space Station, to embark on the longest space mission in Arab history, and a few weeks before his return to Earth.
The event will take place at the Louvre Abu Dhabi at 1:45 pm UAE time, and the doors will open at 12:45 pm and close at 1:40 pm.
The past meetings with Sultan Al Neyadi witnessed the presence of more than 9,600 people who were passionate about space and interested in the details of the longest space mission in the history of the Arabs.
During his five-month stay on board the International Space Station, Al-Neyadi participated in many activities and scientific experiments, and this event will represent an important opportunity for the attendees to communicate with the Emirati astronaut a month before his return to Earth.
It is noteworthy that the UAE Astronaut Programme, which is managed by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center, is one of the projects funded by the Information and Communications Technology Fund of the Communications and Digital Government Authority, and aims to support research and development in the information and communication technology sector.
