Monday 20 June is Q fever patient’s day. An important day to draw attention to Q fever.
There are still nearly 1,000 people enrolled in Q-support seeking and receiving support. People who have sometimes been suffering from Q fever complaints for 15 years, such as QVS or Chronic Q fever. To put the patients in the spotlight even more, Q-support is organizing a Q fever week with ‘meeting days’ throughout the country. In which patients can meet each other, but also aftercare advisers and medical advisers. “During corona, live meetings were not possible. Now is a good time to get together physically after all this time. Not having to do anything but just being able to chat, ask, talk”, says Q-Support.
On Monday 20 June there will be a meeting day at Muzelinck at Raadhuislaan 18 in Oss from 2 to 4 pm. All Q fever patients are welcome. They can also bring an accompanying person, partner or friend. You can register via www.q-support.nu/ontmoeten.
