Today a meeting will be held between the National Electoral Council (CNE) and the National Commission for Primaries (CNP), in which points of great importance for the primary election process will be discussed. It is expected that in the next few hours the results of said meeting will be announced.
Although the agenda that will be discussed during the meeting has not been discussed, it is known that this meeting took place after the CNE issued a report in which it stated that the technical support of the electoral body for the primary should be with the biometric system. .
Given this, Jesús María Casal, president of the CNP, pointed out that it was necessary to meet with different unions to analyze the CNE’s decision and carry out a consultation process.
