The Secretaries of the Interior, Olga Sánchez Cordero, arrived at the National Palace; of Labor, Luisa María Alcalde; of Culture, Alejandra Frausto. As well as the secretaries of the Navy, Admiral José Rafael Ojeda Durán; of National Defense, General Luis Cresencio Sandoval; of Communications and Transportation, Javier Jiménez Espriú.
Also the undersecretaries Alejandro Encinas; Ariadne Montiel, Wellness; and Horacio Duarte, from work. Alejandro Encinas assured that the meeting is to see priority topics, among them, that of COVID-19 and the tasks that the federal government must have in front of this situation.
The Secretary of the Interior, Olga Sánchez Cordero said that they were summoned this morning by President López Obrador and that at the end of the meeting the federal government will report on the content of the meeting.
For her part, the Undersecretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel reported that To prevent older adults who are ill and have to do some paperwork from social programs, a special program will be implemented so that these beneficiaries can stay at home.
“In the case of older adults there has been a special care instruction that if they are ill they do not have to leave their homes and we are going to give them operational instructions.” He explained that the operation will be released next week and will be applied during the month of April.
