It was big news when it was revealed in August that Charles Martinette would be replaced as the voice of Mario after three decades (he actually started before Super Mario 64 was released).
The first game to let us hear Mario’s new voice was Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but Nintendo hasn’t revealed who will be lucky enough to play one of the most famous video game icons of all time. But now we think we know who it is, thanks to IMDb.in gameon the official page, all the actors in Super Mario Bros. Wonder have now been listed, with Brian Hull said to be playing Mario and Luigi.before you say“who?”Before that, let’s add that we’re not familiar with this name either, as he’s mostly done small voice-over roles before, with Dracula in Hotel Transylvania: Transformers probably being his best effort.
Other names are listed on IMDb, such as Kenny James as the voice of Bowser and Samantha Kelly as the voice of Peach (a role they have played many times before).
Super Mario Bros. Wonder will launch exclusively for Switch on October 20th, and we’re excited to hear Mario’s new voice. If Brian Hull is the chosen actor, but it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, do you think that sounds like a good choice?
