Gal Gadot’s interpretation of the movie Wonder Woman impressed the critics. The sequence of the work, Wonder Woman 1984, did not draw so much attention, but brought together great classics from the automobile universe.

The iconic Chevrolet van (which spawned the GMC Vandura), a Camaro and many Hummers appear in the film. But the models considered most special in the sequel are the 1983 Ford LTD Victoria Crown, the 1984 Chrysler from Fifth Avenue and the classic Mercedes-Benz W126.

1984 Wonder Woman’s Chrysler Fifth Avenue

The Chrysler Fifth Avenue is an icon of the past. In Wonder Woman 1984, the character of Gal Gadot is seen getting out of the car at the arrival of a gala event.

Despite being 5.25 meters long, the model was among the smallest on Fifth Avenue. The 1984 classic was powered by an efficient 5.2L V8 engine. It was able to go from 0 to 100 km / h in 13 seconds. At 168 km / h, the Chrysler’s top speed wasn’t exactly impressive, but it didn’t have to be for a luxury sedan of its size.

Fifth Avenue 1984 was the latest Chrysler model with rear-wheel drive and V8 before the Chrysler 300 was revived in 2005.

Mercedes-Benz W126

The next is the Mercedes-Benz W126, which makes an appearance in the middle of chaos when Diana and Steve travel to Pennsylvania. The Mercedes stands out among a series of static cars and a Hummer. Powered by the 3.0-liter in-line OM617 five-cylinder engine, the W126 was an efficient performance beacon.

With elegant and super comfortable interiors, the W126 was one of the most luxurious vehicles of the time. The driver’s airbags and ABS (anti-lock braking system) already guaranteed the safety of the characters.

The classic Mercedes-Benz of Wonder Woman also featured a fully automatic temperature control system, powered by an internal sensor.

Equipped with transmission technology, the W126 showed impressive acceleration. It was able to go from 0 to 100 km / h in just 8 seconds and had a top speed of 210km / h.

1983 Ford LTD Victoria Crown

In Wonder Woman 1984, there is a mess in a mall and the police are called. What happens next? The agents arrive in one of the iconic models of the 1980s: the Ford LTD Victoria Crown 1983.

Ford classics dominated the United States Police fleets for more than three decades before being replaced by more modern models. The Ford LTD Victoria Crowns that appear in Wonder Woman 1984 are scaled-down versions of their predecessors from the 1970s.

As a result, the 1983 Victoria Crown was also considerably lighter than the previous generation’s models – about 200 pounds lighter – while maintaining sufficient internal space.

According to the HotCars portal, the cars used the “Panther” platform and were praised by experts for their robustness and durability. At the heart of the model was the 5.8-liter Windsor V8 engine.

In addition to impressive aerodynamics, the Ford sported electric windows, tilting steering and automatic headlights. In terms of acceleration, the LTD Victoria Crown 1983 could go from 0 to 100 km / h in just 13 seconds and had a top speed of more than 250 km / h.
