Rockefeller Center inaugurated its newest rooftop attraction: The Beam, a metal platform that rises even more into the skyscraper so that visitors can recreate a historic New York photo.
One of the most iconic photos of the 20th century was taken by the New York Herald Tribune in 1932.
It shows a group of workers building one of Manhattan’s skyscrapers sitting on a beam at lunchtime.
91 years later visitors to the roof of the building called Top of The Rockthey will be able to repeat the experience.
The attraction is a metal beam-like structure that It rises 12 feet above the roof.
Then, rotates 180 degrees to give visitors a view of Central Park and the famous Manhattan skyline.
Visitors will be able to recreate the iconic photo when boarding the attraction.
According to Rockefeller Center data, access to The Beam costs $40 for adults and $34 for children.
