Last week, the automaker Aston Martins unveiled its new vehicle, Valhalla, chosen to be the next car in James Bond following the 007 movie franchise. The company has rated the model as a “hybrid supercar” for bringing the highest standards of performance, dynamics and driving pleasure.
The model is equipped with a robust 4.0 bit-turbo V8 engine and has three electric motors, responsible for generating a combined power of almost 1,000 hp. According to the British manufacturer, with this, the vehicle can reach 100km/h in less than 3 seconds. The limit is 330 km/h and 101 kgf/m of torque.
In its structure, the car brings carbon fiber and an evolution of the aerodynamics of the previous Aston Martin Valkyrie. The company says it hopes, with this model, “to revolutionize the auto industry, balancing performance, power and sophistication.”
“While Valkyrie’s legacy is clear, Valhalla is now a more mature design piece. A car that combines the pure aerodynamic function you would expect from a brand competing in Formula 1 with the beautiful shape, striking proportions and exemplary details for which Aston Martin is known,” guarantees Marek Reichman, the brand’s creative director.
The assembler did not give details of the final value of the car, but, according to information from the British newspaper Daily Mail, it could cost 700 thousand pounds (about R$ 5 million). The vehicle must be produced on a limited basis, with sales expected to begin in the second half of 2023.
