The next phase of The War Within pre-expansion update begins today with special in-game events that take players on a nostalgic journey through the history of WoW’s greatest threats.
Visible Echoes will call upon the Heroes of Azeroth to confront and erase the memories of Azeroth, which have taken the form of past enemies including player choices. For their efforts, players will be awarded leftover souvenirs which serve as currency to be used to purchase limited-time gear specific to the warband.
This event will be available to players from level 10 to 70, regardless of whether they currently have The War Within, and will end with the expansion’s global launch on August 26 at 3:00 p.m.
