Marie Jedličková (24) is one of the finalists of the prestigious Miss Czech Republic 2023 beauty pageant led by Taťana Makarenko. So far, she has lived abroad for 3 years, where she traveled mainly for her studies, but also to see her boyfriend, with whom she has been a couple for almost 6 years. The beautiful blonde is literally changing her lifestyle with her participation – as she admits in an interview for eXtra.cz, she considers herself more of an adrenaline type and prefers to spend her days in nature. Life in the spotlight is a big change for her. Not afraid of the famous mission disease? She talked about that too.
This year’s edition of the prestigious Miss Czech Republic beauty pageant under the leadership of director Taťana Makarenko is approaching the grand finale. This will take place already on 13.5. in Prague’s Karlín Forum. One of the beauties who managed to make it to the final eleven is the twenty-four-year-old Marie Jedličková. “Signing up was a very spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment idea. I have my friend Sofia here, which I took as an incentive,” she spoke at the beginning of the interview she gave us as part of a foreign training course in the United Arab Emirates.
“I am very happy for this because I spent the last 3 years abroad and recently returned to the Czech Republic. It was a great opportunity and I am very happy to be here now,” added.
She lived a different lifestyle until now
For Maria, participation in the beauty pageant and all associated activities bring a certain way out of the comfort zone. He is quite an action-adrenaline type. She spent most of her free time “on the opposite side of the barricade” rather than in the spotlight. “I lived in the north of England, I had many experiences such as hiking, paddleboarding in nature,” added the beautiful blonde. It is also a change for her boyfriend, with whom she has been a couple for almost 6 years.
“My boyfriend supports me, but of course it’s more difficult for him. He studies zoology, he sees me as that adrenaline girl, but he’s happy for me.” she revealed. The mission is definitely not afraid of illness. However, she already has experience with modeling in the past, but she does not have the best memories of this period, as you can see in the interview in the preview video.
He is interested in the topic of sustainability
If she succeeds in the competition and places herself in the top positions, she wants to devote a large part of her attention to nature or the topic of sustainability. “I am interested in the topic of sustainability, I think it is a current and important thing. I would like to work in an organization that deals with this topic. At the same time, I want to help young people with various activities in nature, to help them with their mental health.” she says how she would “manage” the win and the increased interest of people in her person.
At first glance, Marie impresses with her height – she is 184 cm. Among her other great strengths is her excellent ability to communicate in English. Finalist No. 6 is also a student at the Business Institute in Prague, where she studies strategic management.
Soon it will be decided which of the top 11 girls will take the crown and title of Miss, and Noesko will very soon have its new beauty queen, who will represent our country almost all over the world throughout the year.
