Meet Kevin Afghani: The New Voice of Wario and More in Nintendo Games

Ever since Charles Martinet announced his intention to switch from voicing a number of Mario characters to becoming a brand ambassador, we’ve been waiting to hear who would take over his duties at Nintendo. For Mario and Luigi’s sake, it was recently confirmed to be Kevin Afghani, and now we know who’s also handling Wario.

As expected, it looks like Afghani will be voicing all the characters to whom Martinet has previously lent his talents, as in the credits of WarioWare: Move It (you can read our review here), Afghani’s name is listed top of the sound section.

As Martinet also voices Waluigi, it seems highly likely that Afghani will take over the role as well whenever we next see Waluigi in a video game.
