Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev reached the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Dubai, where he will play with the first racket of the planet Serb Novak Djokovic.
In the quarter-finals, the 27-year-old Russian defeated Croatian Borna Coric, the 20th racket of the world, with a score of 6:3, 6:2.
Medvedev is world No. 7 with 17 ATP titles. Over the past two weeks, the Russian has won two tournaments – in Rotterdam and Doha. His winning streak reached 12 matches. The tournament in Dubai will end on March 4. The prize fund of the competition is $2.85 million.
