Medvedev Mocks Trump’s Mugshot in Latest Twitter Post

Dmitry Medvedev, who is Russia’s former president and current deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, regularly makes rowdy threats and rude remarks against the West and Western politicians.

On Friday afternoon, Medvedev publishes a post on Twitter/X and makes fun of ex-president Donald Trump’s so-called “mugshot”.

“Prisoners against zombies – A new thriller film is coming soon,” writes Medvedev Twitter/X.

Trump arrested and released in Georgia

Medvedev has attached the historic imprisonment photo of Trump and a manipulated photo of Joe Biden, where the US president is portrayed as a zombie.

Medvedev is obviously playing on President Biden’s advanced age (80 years). Biden is regularly teased by the press and on social media for “dipping off”, tripping on stairs or slurring in public situations. Several also claim that the president is becoming demented.

Ex-President Trump is known to be the only US president in history who is allowed in a criminal case, and risks a potential prison sentence in four ongoing criminal cases.

At the time of writing, everything indicates that there will be a rematch between Biden and Trump in the presidential election in November next year.

Mugshot

Late on Thursday, Trump was arrested and then released in Georgia, where he is charged with attempted election fraud.

Trump flew from New York to Atlanta and drove straight to the Fulton County Jail, where he was formally arrested. As agreed in advance, he was also released immediately, says the sheriff in Fulton County. A bail of 200,000 dollars – just over 2.1 million kroner – had been negotiated in advance. It was all over in about 20 minutes.

In the process, a so-called mugshot was also taken, the characteristic photos that are taken of arrested persons in many places in the USA. This has not been done in connection with the federal cases against Trump, but in Georgia it is normal practice to take such photos.

After the photo was made public, Trump posted it on X/Twitter with the text “Election interference. Never surrender!” and the address of his website.

The prison where Trump reported himself is notorious. Three inmates have died here in the last month, and the prison is being investigated for civil rights violations.

Several arrested

In Georgia, Trump is being prosecuted for attempting to change the results of the presidential election in 2020. A judge has decided that the trial against one of the co-defendants will begin as early as October, but it has not been decided whether it will apply to Trump and the 17 other defendants.
