American stylist and YouTuber Justin Hickox wrote down A video review featuring five medium length hairstyles “that you should never wear”.
“As a hair expert, I understand that people are often looking for practical advice on what hairstyles to wear and which ones to avoid. That’s why in this video I break down five medium length hairstyles you should never wear.” – expert commented on the video.
According to Hickox, women should primarily avoid layering at the very bottom of their hairstyles on medium-length hair. The expert noted that it looks especially ugly if the hair is thin.
The stylist considers the big contrast between the layers of hair to be the second unsuccessful haircut. He advises aiming for a smoother transition.
The third option for an unsuccessful hairstyle is that the hair on the top is cut much shorter than the hair in front and on the sides. The expert noted that the length of the hair in front should always be the same as the shortest hair at the crown and back, but never longer.
The fourth hairstyle that is best avoided is haircuts, when the length of the top layer of hair is much shorter than the rest of the length.
The fifth unsuccessful haircut option, according to the expert, is a smooth Czech without a transition on the sides. According to Hickox, this style makes any face look square and wide.
