After a thrilling promotion that kept us going throughout the wait for Great Medina, the album is finally out. Far from stopping there, Medina continues to engage its fans with the Keakr app and thus prolong the pleasure of his album.
Via several posts on his social networks, the rapper from Le Havre has once again shown inventiveness. This time–here he proposes a real opportunity for young rappers to make themselves known by means of a particular song, Greater Paris 2.
An opportunity in the vein of the “Grand Paris” projects
On the occasion of an upcoming remix of the title which has already made a lot of talk, Medina offers rappers in search of visibility the opportunity to participate in the new version of the sound. All they have to do is download the instrument via l’application Keakr (hyper active in French rap), to put a verse on it and submit it to the rapper from Le Havre and the producer Proof. Together they will decide the top three who will earn the right to be part of the song.
This type of opportunity fits perfectly with the symbolism and history of this sound.. In fact, in 2017, Greater Paris (first piece of this name for Medina) already aimed to bring together rappers, with sacred big names of the French rap scene (Lartiste, Lino, Sofiane, Alivor, Seth Gueko, Ninho, Youssoupha). Le Havre had repeated the experience with Greater Paris 2 (Koba LaD, Larry, Pirate, Rémy, Oxmo Puccino).
Today it is available to everyone (or almost) to appear on the second version of Greater Paris 2. A golden chance for aspiring rappers... What–what are you waiting for?
