Medienanstalt Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is once again sending the current issue of the FLIMMO brochure to interested schools and to parents in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern whose children started school in August. 2,100 FLIMMO copies will be sent to 37 schools across the country.
The event is free for parents in the first grades. The FLIMMO brochure provides tips on how to navigate the German children’s television jungle, with streaming offers and on YouTube.
Especially at the beginning of school, parents are particularly interested in media education issues and want media education advice. Above all, the correct use of the media often raises questions in many families. That’s why the FLIMMO parenting guide has compiled the most important information and tips, suitable for the age group of school beginners:
- Choosing the right ones – this is what makes good movies and series
- Tips for families: this is how everyday media life is more relaxed
- Time for media: it changes when school starts
- Streaming and YouTube – Parents should pay attention to this
