Vechta
Four students at the St. Marienhospital in Vechta have now passed their last medical state examination. There was great joy at the clinic and the four students at the Hannover Medical School. With the exam a few days ago, you passed the third section of your medical examination for the medical state examination in the Vechta Hospital, an academic teaching hospital of the Hannover Medical School.
Maria Albers, Johanna Tabea Burgmann, Jan Schiller and David Twardella – all four with an elective subject pediatrics (pediatrics) – also mastered the last step on their way to becoming an assistant doctor.
The candidates passed the medical state examination after the practical year. The focus of this year was on practical work on patients, during which the medical knowledge, skills and abilities acquired during the course were deepened and expanded, announced the hospital in a press release. The prospective doctors each completed a third of the year in surgery, internal medicine and their respective elective, pediatrics.
These specialists from St. Marienhospital Vechta belonged to the examination committee: Professor Dr. med. Dr. phil. Dietrich Doll (surgery, chair of examinations, practical year representative), Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Christian Hönemann (anesthesia), Dr. med. Achim Gutersohn (internal medicine) and Dr. med. Oliver Schirrmacher (pediatrics).
