Ibrahim Al-Zayat, a member of the General Syndicate of Physicians, confirmed the continuation of efforts to disburse the dues of the families of the martyrs of the medical teams, according to the decision to consider Corona as an infectious disease, issued on May 30, 2020, the law of work injury to infectious diseases, and the decision of the Social Insurance Authority to pay the pensions of the families of martyrs, considering Corona work injuryHe pointed out that payment procedures are being finalized for about 49 families of the doctors’ martyrs.-
Al-Zayat explained, in exclusive statements to “The Seventh Day,” that the injury pension is disbursed retroactively, starting from the date of the doctor’s death, pointing out that the decision includes all doctors since the registration of the first martyr among their ranks in March 2020, indicating that the injury death certificate is considered A “check” for an exceptional pension added to the regular pension to become 145% of the comprehensive wage.
It is worth noting that the documents required to obtain a corona death pension are:
1- Filling out Form 29 S. S from the employer “Injury Death Calculation Form”
2- A copy of the national ID card
3- A true copy of the job identity card
4- Death certificate
5- In the event of death in a hospital, a medical report from the hospital attached with evidence of infection with the new Corona virus
6- In case of death outside the hospital, as a result of a swab, and in the absence of it: a CT scan of the lungs with signs of atypical pneumonia
7- A form for notifying a work injury report from the employer.
