Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C) Indonesia lost contact with three of its volunteers. MER-C lost contact with the three of them two days ago.
“MER-C Indonesia has lost contact with MER-C Volunteers and local staff in Gaza since 14.00 WIB, October 27 2023,” wrote MER-C Indonesia via its Instagram account, Sunday (29/10/2023).
detikcom also contacted the Head of the MER-C Presidium, Dr Sarbini Abdul Murad, to ask for detailed information. Sarbini said there were three volunteers who had lost contact.
“Three MER-C volunteers in Gaza, Fikri Rofiul Haq, Reza Aldilla Kurniawan, Farid Zanzabil Al Ayubi. It’s been two days,” he said, Sunday (29/10).
His party has coordinated with the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also lost contact with the three.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also lost contact with Indonesian volunteers. Both have lost contact. Please pray,” he said.
Israel Strikes Gaza
