Job Description
We are looking for a medical assistant (f/m/d) to look after our plasma donors at the BioLife Plasma Center Graz Europaplatz. Are you looking for a new challenge and value regular working hours? This is what you do:

Carrying out donor identification and informing donors about the plasma donation process

Assessing eligibility to donate through knowledge of eligibility and rejection criteria

Preparation for venipuncture in compliance with hygiene guidelines

Donor care and monitoring of donors during the donation
-
Documentation of donation and device-related data
-
Preparation and operation of the plasmapheresis device
-
Cleaning and disinfection of the materials used
-
Processing and packaging of blood samples
-
Operation, cleaning and maintenance of the blood analysis device
-
Freezing and packaging of plasma donations
Please bring with you:

Completed training in a medical assistant profession (e.g. ordination assistant, nursing assistant, (dental) doctor’s assistant, laboratory assistant)

Professional experience in a medical laboratory, a hospital or an office in connection with patient contact is desired

High quality awareness

Basic knowledge of plasma, GMP, GDP and EHS

Enjoy dealing with people, service orientation and discretion

Positive attitude and high empathy

Stress resistance

Very good knowledge of German and good English

First aid knowledge

Good computer user skills

Working hours: Part-time (28.5 hours per week = 3 days/week), later increase to full-time (38 hours per week = 4 days/week) possible, opening times currently Mon-Sat
