The upcoming release of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ chipset is generating excitement after a Geekbench 6 score sheet was leaked online. The results are impressive, with the chipset outperforming the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in both multi-core and single-core tests. The alleged score sheet shows an impressive 5,655 points in the multi-core test and 2,121 points in the single-core scenario, making it one of the most powerful chipsets on the market. The chipset is expected to power a Vivo smartphone, possibly the rumored X90S. The only Android phone that comes close to the Dimensity 9200+ in terms of performance is the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate when the X Mode is enabled. The chipset will feature a Cortex-X3 main core clocked at 3.35 GHz, 3x Cortex-A175 cores ticking at 3.0 GHz, and 4x small Cortex-A510 cores with unknown clock speeds. The Dimensity 9200+ is set to be released on May 10, and tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to get their hands on this powerhouse chipset.
