JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – The global fabless semiconductor company Mediatek has again added a new line of chipset portfolio to the Dimensity series through Dimensity 9200+, which is prepared for flagship 5G smartphones.
This latest series offering deliberately builds on the success of its predecessor which has superior performance and power saving advantages for longer battery life and an even better gaming experience.
Dimensity 9200+ has a higher clock speed than the previous series, combining one Arm Cortex-X3 ultra-core operating up to 3.35 Ghz, three Arm Cortex-A715 super-cores running up to 3.0 Ghz, and four low-cost cores. Arm Cortex-A510 power at 2.0 Ghz. To support the Dimensity 9200+ in gaming and computing-intensive applications, MediaTek increased the GPU Arm Immortalis-G715 chipset by 17%.
According to Deputy General Manager of MediaTek’s Wireless Communications Business Unit, Dr. Yenchi Lee continues to raise the bar for reliable performance and power efficiency with Dimensity 9200+, ensuring device makers have access to the most advanced mobile gaming features available today.

The Dimensity 9200+ features a 4CC-CA 5G Release-16 modem that seamlessly switches between long-range sub-6GHz and super-fast mmWave connections. The chipset also supports Wi-Fi 7 2×2 + 2×2 with data rates up to 6.5Gbps, along with Bluetooth 5.3. MediaTek’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi coexistence technology enables Wi-Fi, Bluetooth low energy (LE) audio, and wireless peripherals to connect at the same time with ultra-low latency and zero inference.
