And while the previous record holder in the leaderboard scored 1.63 million points (Red Magic 8 Pro+), we will soon pass the two million point score. This repeats the situation with last year’s Dimensity 9200, which compared to the previous generation had a quarter higher performance.
The Antutu benchmark revealed how the upcoming processor is doing with performance Mediatek Dimensity 9300. This octa-core uses a 1 + 3 + 4 configuration, but this time it does not contain any “economy” Cortex-A520 cores. Everything is focused on maximum performance, so the chipset includes four Cortex-X4 supercores (but only one runs at maximum clock speed), and then four Cortex-A720 performance cores. The SoC also includes one of the most powerful mobile graphics in the world – Immortalis-G720.

Codenamed “alps k6989v1_64”, the device was tested with 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage and Android 14 operating system. So it can be assumed that it will be one of the upcoming flagships planned for next year. In Antutu, he got this phone 2,055,084 points, under which significantly higher scores of individual sub-components were signed. The processor has a 65% higher result, the graphics increase is 55 percent. In terms of storage (LPDDR5X + UFS 4.0), the new chipset improved by a third, and the graphic interface scored half as many points as before. The raw performance of smartphones will thus increase very significantly, but without the necessary cooling (e.g. for gaming phones) it can be assumed that nothing significant will change for ordinary users.
