Mediasuite: Philips TV is Europe’s best-selling hospitality brand

According to data from the market research institute Omdia, the Philips Mediasuite TVs will be the best-selling hospitality TVs in Europe for the first time in the first half of 2024.

Philips manufacturer PPDS reports that there was a massive increase in the second quarter, especially in Western Europe. In the Benelux countries, the market share rose to more than 40 percent and in the DACH region to 45 percent. In France and the Nordic countries the market share is over 50 percent and 59 percent respectively.

Mediasuite TVs have been ordered by companies such as Accor, B&B Hotels, Best Western, Choice, Four Seasons, IHG, Louvre, Marriott, Radisson and Wyndham.

First place also in China and Australia

Analyzes also show similar increases outside Europe: Philips Mediasuite is now number one in China and Australia, with significant increases in North America following the launch of the series in 2021.

In our opinion, hotel television simply couldn’t keep up with home entertainment.” The Mediasuite series was introduced for the first time in 2019. The devices are Google Cast and Netflix capable and are regularly updated to stay up to date.
