A piece of news has shaken the world of Italian information today. As collected from Fanpage.it, indeed, Mediaset has decided to close three television editorial offices: it is Open Studio, Tg4 e Sportmediaset, which pay for the dizzying decline in ratings suffered in the last period. The company’s decision, as reported by the online newspaper, is dictated by multiple factors. The first: an important downsizing that will lead to a substantial farewell to sport. After closing Mediaset Premium, the Biscione di Cologno Monzese also abandons SportMediaset, which has become a real brand over the years that now seems to have lost its shine. The ratings, as for Tg4 and StudioAperto, dropped dramatically. Only Tg5 and Tgcom24 will remain active, the only publications that will therefore send their correspondents to various sporting events.
