Mediaschneider turns companies around: layoffs and new structure

Mediaschneider AG has reorganized its management and given itself a new organization.

The management of the owner-managed company includes the previous CEO Moritz Schneider and the two new members Helen Seligmann and Jaykson Bilbao.

The new organization of the media agency is based on the bottom-up principle. Employees should be involved in shaping the future and personal responsibility in the workplace should be expanded, as the media agency explained when asked by the Klein Report.

The agency hopes that this will, among other things, result in “faster decisions and shorter reaction times” and more satisfaction at work.

However, the innovations come at a price. “As a result of the reorganization, staff turnover has increased in recent months.” And further: “In addition to personal resignations, layoffs also had to be given.” 6 in number, 5 employees left the agency of their own accord.

Next year, the Mediaschneider team will consist of “around 50 employees”.
