Welding Simulators by Augmented Reality, Integral Center for Agrotechnical Education and Agrotechnology, STEAM Platform with Simulators for Professional Technical Education – FANLAB were publicly known.

The Ministry of Education of the Nation, through the National Institute of Technological Education (INET), officially made the presentation of the INET 2020 Institutional Innovation Development Projects. Made up of three projects that seek to satisfy the demands of different sectors, this initiative was financed by the INET Tax Credit Program 2020 with the sum of 10,000,000 (ten million) pesos for each one. The head of the national educational portfolio, Nicolás Trotta, along with the executive director of INET, Diego Golombek participated in the announcement.

The Augmented Reality Welding Simulator promotes the development of cutting-edge technologies in the country, with the addition of representing a replacement for imports. Learning with a technology of this type allows the exercises to be repeated as many times as the instructor deems necessary, without incurring major expenses and with redundant security in repetitive processes. Its development is shared intellectual property between the INET and the Association of Metallurgical Industries of the Argentine Republic (ADIMRA), and is being carried out in conjunction with the MediaLab of the National University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires.
