The attending physician of the Makiso-Kisangani General Referral Hospital, Dr Mateus Kanga, is suspended from his duties for a period not exceeding three months by the head of the health division.

This doctor is accused, according to the minutes of his suspension circulating on social networks, of having made discourteous remarks against Governor Walle Lufungula through social networks (WhatsApp). The facts took place on April 15 and 16, 2021 after the vote of the motion against the provincial government.

For Doctor Francis Baelongandi, signatory of this PV, the interventions of Doctor Mateus Kanga were in the sense of minimizing the personality of the authority; and that this would violate article 19 of decree-law n ° 017/2002 of October 3, 2002 on the code of conduct of the public official of the State.

Doctor Mateus has, thus, 20 days from May 3, the date of his suspension, to respond to the various complaints against him.
