On Wednesday, a two-week quarantine on board the ship ended, 443 people went ashore, including two Russian citizens. On Thursday, the ship began to leave the next group of passengers.

To combat the spread of the virus, the Russian government had previously closed border sections with the PRC in the Far East, restricted border crossings with Mongolia, canceled work visas for Chinese citizens, and the Russians there were taken out of Hubei.
